What is Landscape Arrangement?

Landscape arrangement is the process of arranging the natural and artificial elements of an area in terms of aesthetics, ecological and functional aspects. This process includes the design, planning, implementation and maintenance of a landscape. Landscape arrangement is made especially for the purpose of arranging gardens, parks and green areas. These areas help people to rest, play and be in touch with nature.

Landscape design begins with determining the intended use of an area. For example, if a garden is to be created, what kind of environment is desired to be created for this garden and which elements are to be used are determined. At this stage, topography of the land, temperature, humidity, light and other factors are also taken into account. Then, design work is done and a landscape plan is created as a result of this work.

A landscape plan is a drawing formed as a result of design work. This drawing shows the locations, sizes and shapes of the elements to be included in the landscape. The landscape plan also includes information on how items will interact with each other, which items will need maintenance and when, and other information.

Landscape application is made according to the landscape plan. At this stage, elements of the landscape (eg trees, flowers, road and paths) are placed and arranged. During landscaping it is important to place and arrange the elements correctly, as this affects the aesthetic appearance and function of the landscape.

Landscape maintenance includes the regular maintenance of elements in the landscape. These processes are done for the healthy growth and development of the elements. Landscape maintenance includes watering, plowing, pruning and germination of items. Landscape care also includes activities such as preventing pests and diseases, fertilizing items regularly, and harvesting flowers. Landscape care keeps the landscape looking beautiful and growing healthily.
